About the 2024 Income Tax Seminars

For 57 years the UK Income Tax Seminar has delivered timely, high-quality training to tax professionals in Kentucky. This year, we will continue to offer both in-person seminars and online webinars. We will make every effort to make it as easy as possible for you to participate and engage with the UK Income Tax Seminars.

The UK Income Tax Seminars are filled with useful information that will provide the information you need to prepare and file returns. Our seminars are organized into traditional, 2-day, in-person and online seminars. Our program offers 17 hours of CPE, which includes 2 hours of ethics credit.

About the Program

The University of Kentucky Department of Agricultural Economics and the Cooperative Extension Service, in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service and the Kentucky Department of Revenue, present a series of tax education seminars throughout the state. The seminars are designed to present updates for both federal and state tax preparation for tax professionals, enrolled agents, certified public accountants, certified financial planners, and attorneys.

The University of Kentucky is a founding member of the Land Grant University Tax Education Foundation.

Designed for professional tax preparers with at least one year of tax preparation experience. This two-day, intermediate seminar covers individual and small business issues, including the latest changes to both the Federal and State tax laws.

Continuing Education Status

We are approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a Continuing Education Provider for Enrolled Agents.

The course is also approved by the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy, Kentucky Department of Insurance, and is accepted by the Certified Financial Planners Board of Standards and the Kentucky Bar Association for CLE credit.

The University of Kentucky is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org
